I was very pleased yesterday when i opened up ORNAMENT MAGAZINE and saw my work and my artist statement. I have subscribed for 25 years and always aspired to have my work here. I loved my conversation with Carolyn Benesh. I realized what an artist she is herself for putting together this beautiful and visual publication.
I talked about where my ideas stem from as a artist. When I finished art school I knew I had to go out in life and gather some experiences. Through love, laughter, hardship and toil here is my body of work I have compiled. My work is about real life. My work is about real life experiences.

Your work with resin is amazing. I'm always nervous about it's toxicity. Maybe you have something in the US that is less potent than we have.
I regularly buy Ornament so I must make sure I get this one.
Congratulations, Susan, for having your fabulous art in Ornament magazine! See you soon in Portland!
