I wanted to post a few pictures of my studio. I finally had some photography done for STUDIO magazine. It is a bi-yearly publication through CLOTH, PAPER, SCISSORS. If you subscribe look for my article coming in Sept. It is how I organize and set up my 2 work spaces for efficiency etc. The first photo is where I am sitting now, as I write.... although it may or may not be as neat as pictured..........
The second photo is where the real work gets done. I am working on building the circus troop.

A trip I took over the summer to Warren Dunes national forest in Michigan reminded me of what I try to seek out in other cultures. I was pleasantly surprised to find an inspiring example of body adornment used in a non traditional manner. It felt like a pilgrimage or spiritual quest inspired by a union of spirits. People of all ages forged through waist deep water all working together to get there in a warm peaceful state of mind. People of all ages happily lathered themselves in clay and shaped interesting hair styles and body pattens.
